Shell clamp for steam EN 14423 (DIN 2826) for VSS, MSS, FSS and SSF type ends
High-quality Heavy Duty shell clamp intended primarily for rubber steam hoses for mounting steam ends of VSS, MSS, FSS and SSF types. Manufactured (sizes 1/2” to 2”) according to EN 14423 (DIN 2826). Bolts and nuts made of galvanized steel (for brass clamps), stainless steel (for stainless steel clamps).The clamp should be selected according to the inner diameter of the hose and the hose wall thickness in accordance with the nominal clamp size, so that the outer diameter of the hose being assembled falls within the range specified for the clamp. Preliminary tightening of the clamp requires the use of long auxiliary bolts. Material: brass, AISI 316 steel. Working temperature: up to + 230°C. Working pressure: 18 bar (+ 210°C) – saturated steam, other applications: selection in consultation with TUBES INTERNATIONAL®.
