Hose tail for steam hoses with NPT female thread, brass GF BOSS
Ends with female NPT thread for rubber steam hoses, with a corrugated hose tail, with a lock – for assembly in the hose using BOSS SBC steam clamps. A complete end consists of three parts – a GB ball end with a hose tail (“tail”), a wing nut B with a special female thread (NPS), and a special GFB adaptor with a male thread (NPS) matching the nut and a female thread matching the end size. The GFB adaptor has a tapered polymer or copper insert cooperating with the ball end. This creates a leak-tight connection resistant to steam and high temperature, while also being easy to unscrew and tighten without special tools, using the wing nut. Material: brass. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) - saturated steam. Working temperature: up to +230°C.
