Hose end for steam hoses with female thread, stainless steel AISI 316 GF BOSS
Steam hose hose end with female thread, stainless steel AISI 316 GF BOSS. Hose ends with BSP and NPT female threads for rubber steam hoses, with a corrugated hose tail and locking collar, for assembly in the hose using BOSS SBC steam clamps. The complete end consists of three parts – a GB spherical end with a hose tail, a B wing nut with a special female thread (NPS), and a special GFB adaptor with a male thread (NPS) matching the nut and a female thread corresponding to the end size. The GFB adaptor has a tapered polymer or copper insert cooperating with the spherical end. This creates a leak-tight connection resistant to steam and high temperature, which is also easy to unscrew and tighten without special tools, using the wing nut. Due to the structurally reduced lock (flange) of the 2” end, BOSS SBC 2” steam clamps with 4 claws should not be used. Material: stainless steel AISI 316.…
