Adaptor for steam hose tail with female thread, brass, GFB, BOSS type
Adaptor for a ball-end hose tail and wing nut. It has a tapered surface that mates with the spherical sealing surface of the end piece. It is tightened to the ball end using a wing nut. This creates a leak-tight connection, resistant to steam and high temperature, while also being easy to loosen and tighten without tools. The wing nut thread has a different (larger) size than the internal thread of the GFB adaptor. The GFB adaptor is a standard component of a complete steam hose tail with female thread. The use of the adaptor makes it possible to create various connections, depending on the components used in the installation. Material: brass. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) - saturated steam. Working temperature: up to +230°C.
