Adaptor for a steam hose tail with female thread, stainless steel, GFB, BOSS type. Adaptor for a ball-ended tail and wing nut. In stainless steel version, it has a special polymer or copper insert on the conical surface, matching the spherical sealing surface of the tail. It is tightened onto the ball-ended tail using a wing nut. This creates a tight, steam- and high-temperature-resistant connection that is also easy to loosen and tighten without tools. The wing nut thread has a different (larger) size than the internal thread of the GFB adaptor. The GFB adaptor is a typical component of a complete steam tail with female thread. Use of the adaptor enables the creation of various connections, depending on the elements used in the installation. Material: stainless steel AISI 316. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) - saturated steam. Working temperature: up to +230°C.
