Adaptor nut for hose end for steam hose, zinc-plated steel, GDB, BOSS type
Adaptor for a spherical hose end and wing nut. In zinc-plated steel design, it features a special polymer or copper insert on the tapered surface that mates with the spherical sealing surface of the end. It is tightened to the spherical hose end using a wing nut. This creates a leak-tight connection resistant to steam and high temperature, while remaining easy to loosen and tighten without tools. GDB adaptor, double-ended with wing nut, can connect two hoses with GF ends. Material: zinc-plated steel. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) - saturated steam. Working temperature: up to +230°C.
