Hose tail for steam hoses with female thread, zinc-plated steel/cast iron GF BOSS
End fittings with female thread BSP and NPT for rubber steam hoses, with corrugated hose tail and lock, for mounting in the hose using BOSS SBC steam clamps. A complete fitting consists of three parts: the GB spherical end with hose tail, the B wing nut with a special female thread (NPS), and a special GFB adaptor with a male thread (NPS) matching the wing nut and a female thread corresponding to the fitting size. The GFB adaptor has a conical polymer or copper insert that mates with the spherical end. This creates a leak-tight connection resistant to steam and high temperature, while remaining easy to loosen and tighten without special tools, using the wing nut. Material: galvanized steel/cast iron. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) - saturated steam. Working temperature: up to +230°C.
