Adaptor for a steam hose tail with male thread, zinc-plated steel, GMB, BOSS type. Adaptor for a ball-end and wing nut. Made of zinc-plated steel, it has a special polymer or copper insert on the conical surface, matching the spherical sealing surface of the hose tail. It is tightened onto the ball-end by means of a wing nut. This creates a leak-tight connection, resistant to steam and high temperature, which is also easy to loosen and tighten without tools. The wing nut thread has a different (larger) size than the external thread of the GMB adaptor. Using the adaptor makes it possible to create various connections, depending on the components used in the installation. Material: zinc-plated steel. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) - saturated steam. Working temperature: up to +230°C.
