Suction and delivery hose for transfer of chemicals VACUPRESS CHEM
Very lightweight, flexible suction and delivery hose designed for conveying chemicals. Made of thermoplastic vulcanizate TPV – a material combining the processing advantages of thermoplastic polymers (PP – polypropylene) with the properties of vulcanized rubber (EPDM). Good chemical resistance, comparable to EPDM rubber, allows use with many substances, including acids (hydrochloric, sulfuric), bases, salts, alcohols, glycols and ketones, and concentrated detergents. Not recommended for fuels, oils or aromatic solvents. Resistant to weathering, ageing and abrasion (abrasion loss according to ISO 4649:150 mm 3 ). Low weight and a small bend radius ensure easy handling, which may be an advantage in unloading from tankers and containers.
