Light and flexible chemical hose PLUTONE PK
Very light, flexible suction and delivery hose, intended for conveying chemicals. Made of thermoplastic vulcanizate TPV – a material combining the processing advantages of thermoplastic polymers (PP – polypropylene) with the properties of vulcanized rubber (EPDM). Good chemical resistance, comparable to EPDM rubber, allows use with many substances, including acids (hydrochloric, sulfuric), bases, salts, alcohols, glycols and ketones, and concentrated detergents. Not recommended for fuels, oils, aromatic solvents. Resistant to weathering, ageing and ozone. The low weight and small bend radius of the hose ensure easy handling, which may be an advantage when unloading from tankers and containers.
