Delivery hose for AdBlue® (urea) BLUE
Delivery hose specially designed for AdBlue ® (urea) transfer - 32.5% aqueous urea solution. The hose inner layer is made of black, smooth, antistatic (R‹10 6 Ω/m) EPDM rubber, sulphur-vulcanised. The hose inner layer is free from contamination by aluminium, calcium, chlorine, copper, iron, potassium, magnesium, sodium, nickel and zinc additives, which ensures the highest medium purity in accordance with ISO 22241-2. This is particularly important in the automotive industry, where AdBlue ® acts as a reducing agent to break down environmentally harmful nitrogen oxides in the SCR catalyst. Its use makes it possible to meet the European EURO 4, 5 and 6 exhaust emission standards. For AdBlue ® to be effective, the liquid must be very pure, which requires the use of specialised hoses, tanks and fittings resistant to AdBlue® and not contaminating it.
