Suction and delivery hose for liquid chemicals SUPERTOP/LL UPE®
Heavy-duty suction and delivery hose with an inner layer made of chemically resistant ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UPE, UHMWPE). The inner layer is resistant to most acids and bases and many other aggressive chemicals (at elevated, but not very high temperatures), which makes the hose widely used in the chemical and petrochemical industry. The UPE inner layer also meets the requirements for food-grade hoses, is phthalate-free and free from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), and is characterised by a low coefficient of friction during flow and prevents the medium from building up on the hose wall. This significantly facilitates cleaning and also allows use in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food industries.
