PTFE hose with AISI 304 steel braid HYPERLINE V (VISIFLON)
HYPERLINE V (VISIFLON) hose is made of high-quality spiral-corrugated PTFE, providing exceptional flexibility and vibration resistance among PTFE hoses. Like any PTFE hose, due to the unique properties of PTFE (wide working temperature range, resistance to most substances and chemicals, very low surface adhesion), VISIFLON hose is ideally suited for conveying chemicals, foodstuffs, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, detergents, steam, etc. Where the risk of static electricity has been identified (risk of generation and accumulation of electric charges), VISIFLON hoses made of antistatic PTFE should be used - AS antistatic version. Antistatic PTFE is black (contains graphite properly dispersed in the PTFE) and has resistance R 8 Ω (according to ISO 8031 annex A). This ensures discharge and dissipation of electric charges.
