PTFE and antistatic hose in double AISI 304 steel braid, SMOOTHBORE SWDB
Hose made of a smooth, seamless PTFE tube. The PTFE hose tube is extruded under strictly defined and controlled conditions, which ensures top quality, minimal porosity and the highest flexibility and bendability achievable for a smooth PTFE hose. The braid is made of annealed stainless steel wire AISI 304 with a high tensile strength of 1700 N/mm 2 , with a strictly controlled braid angle and wire bundle tension, resulting in minimal hose length changes under high pressure. The double braid should be used at higher pressures and where, within the permissible limits, greater bending or kinking of the hose occurs. Due to the unique properties of PTFE (wide working temperature range, resistance to most substances and chemical compounds, and negligible surface adhesion), the SMOOTHBORE hose is ideally suited for conveying chemicals, food products, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives…
