HYPERLINE FX hose is an optimal solution for industrial applications where high flow rates, chemical resistance, temperature resistance and permeation resistance are required. It is ideally suited for conveying chemicals, fuel, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, gases and steam, detergents, water and food products. At a working temperature above +130°C, the maximum working pressure stated in the table must be reduced by 1% for every 1°C above this temperature. For example, at a temperature of 170°C the maximum working pressure for hose AF-FXAM-10 is: 70 bar – (170°C-160°C) x 1 = 70 bar – 40% = 42 bar. If a substance flowing through the PTFE hose is a poor conductor and has potential electrostatic charging properties, electric charge will accumulate on the inner surface of the PTFE, and to avoid static electricity problems an antistatic AS version of PTFE is used.
