Hose for very aggressive chemical substances TEFLEX
Top-quality suction and delivery hose designed for conveying a very wide range of aggressive chemicals. The hose’s broad application, primarily in the chemical industry, is determined by the excellent resistance of the FEP fluoropolymer to aggressive solvents and concentrated bases and acids such as hydrochloric, sulphuric, phosphoric and nitric acid, as well as caustic soda and caustic potash. The hose may also be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. It is widely used in clean areas. Inner layer of white tetrafluoroethylene/fluoropropylene copolymer FEP (a thermoplastic fluoropolymer with properties similar to PTFE), mirror-smooth (prevents medium from depositing on the walls and is easy to keep clean), odourless and tasteless, meeting high hygiene requirements (FDA, USP Class VI).
