Fuel Hardwall® suction and delivery hose for use on drilling platforms
Heavy-duty suction and delivery hose intended for transfer and loading of crude oil, petrochemical products and drilling cuttings mixed with crude oil (up to 50% aromatic compounds). Inner layer made of black, smooth NBR/PVC rubber compound. Reinforcement with layers of high-strength synthetic cord and steel spiral. Contains copper wires ensuring electrical continuity between hose ends – provided that they are correctly connected to the ends. Outer layer made of CR chloroprene rubber, flame-retardant, resistant to oil, seawater, abrasion and weathering. Designed as a specialist OFFSHORE hose for use on drilling platforms. Widely used on North Sea platforms, successfully used in onshore applications as well. Special order versions with higher working pressure (20 / 27 / 30 / 35 bar) are also available, with specified tensile breaking force (up to 2T for 2”, 4T for 3” and 7T for 4”, 5”…
