FLEX-GEAR HD band clamp with compensating spring, series 841, stainless steel. Band clamp with worm-drive lock equipped with a spring to compensate for dimensional changes in the connection (hose shrinkage due to cold flow or as a result of large temperature changes). The spring consists of a set of 10 disc springs (Belleville washers) under the screw head. This ensures maintenance of the clamp tightening and leak-tightness over the entire hose circumference, preventing leakage from the installation. The clamp spring mechanism automatically allows the diameter to increase or decrease while maintaining clamp tightening. Particularly recommended for large temperature changes in heavier-duty applications. Proper clamp tightening is indicated by the screw end protruding beyond the lock housing and the flattened disc springs. The internal liner protects the hose surface against damage.…
