Self-closing universal hoses (PUSH ON) are hoses made of rubber or plastics with a special braid construction. This allows the use of PUSH ON fittings, which are mounted (pressed) onto the hose without the need for clamps. The special profile of the fittings interacts with the hose construction, causing the hose to tighten on the fittings under pressure. Self-closing PUSH ON hoses are most commonly used in industrial compressed air, water, hydraulic oil installations, and in the industry.
