High-Temperature Covers
Thermal protection covers of fiberglass or fully flame-resistant silica fiber, supplied as sheets, sleeves and tapes. Maximum operating temperature reaches +982 °C depending on type, with short-term peaks to +1650 °C. A special fiberglass braid stretches and contracts by 25% to fit the protected diameter. Used in steelworks, foundries and glassworks.
