Rubber compensators (rubber expansion joints) absorb vibration, noise and thermal movement in pipework carrying water, seawater, wastewater and other liquids. An elastomer bellows with flanged ends compensates axial, lateral and angular movement and protects pumps and pipe supports. Elastomer choice (e.g. EPDM or NBR) follows the medium and temperature.
