Ultra-smooth silicone hose for pharmaceutical and biotechnological applications TYGON® 3350
Colourless, translucent, flexible hose made of 100% pure platinum-cured synthetic silicone. This hose features an ultra-smooth inner surface obtained in a special process (up to three times smoother than comparable silicone hoses). This prevents the build-up and adhesion of contaminants inside the hose and the growth of bacteria, even with repeated use of the hose, making complete cleaning and sterilisation easier. The smooth inner layer also reduces flow resistance through the hose. Used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and biotechnology industries, medical devices, cell culture, sterile filling lines, for water for injection (WFI), in chemistry and blood analysers, and in liquid chromatography.
