Short sheet-metal ferrule for crimping low-pressure hoses, carbon steel, type H. Type H sheet-metal ferrule used for crimping hoses onto hose tails without a locking feature connecting the ferrule to the hose tail. It can also be used on NiTO hose tails and on quick coupling hose tails. Low-pressure hoses up to approx. 30 bar (depending on diameter), made of various materials, may be crimped with sheet-metal ferrules, provided that the hose material is sufficiently soft for this type of crimping. Mainly rubber hoses with textile braid and PVC hoses. It is also possible to crimp hoses with steel braid (e.g. type PZ hose). The inner diameter of the ferrule should be selected according to the outer diameter of the hose, while also ensuring that the diameter of the bore in the front part of the ferrule matches the hose tail used.
