Screw-to-connect quick coupling with female BSP thread, female part made of carbon steel with zinc-nickel coating, HOLMBURY type HFT
Twist-lock quick coupling socket, HFT series, with BSP female thread. Flat-face leak-tight coupling. Used in applications with high pressure surges. It features an additional O-ring on the socket body, which prevents unthreading in case of vibration. Tightening of quick couplings under residual pressure up to 350 bar is permitted. The quick couplings have a zinc-nickel coating, which provides several times greater corrosion resistance than a zinc coating. Compliant with API 16D standard (for BOP applications). Material: carbon steel with zinc-nickel coating. Seal: NBR. Working temperature: from -40°C to +106°C). Working pressure: up to 550 bar (depending on the quick coupling size). Flow rate is given for a pressure drop of 3 bar.
