Screw-on quick coupling with female BSP thread, carbon steel plug with zinc-nickel coating, HOLMBURY type HFT
HFT series screw-to-connect quick coupling plug with BSP female thread. Leak-free flat-face coupling. Used in applications with high pressure pulses. It features an additional O-ring on the socket body, which prevents unscrewing in case of vibration. Screw-to-connect quick couplings may be connected under residual pressure up to 350 bar. The quick couplings feature a zinc-nickel coating, which provides several times greater corrosion resistance than a zinc coating. Compliant with API 16D standard (intended for BOP applications). Material: carbon steel with zinc-nickel coating. Sealing: NBR. Working temperature: from -40°C to +106°C. Working pressure: up to 550 bar (depending on quick coupling size). Flow rate is given at a pressure drop of 3 bar.
