Electric soft-start valve for compressed air, APR, SYNTESI® series
The soft-start valve is used to fill the working circuit with compressed air, with two-stage operation. Applying the control signal opens the shut-off valve and allows air to flow through the throttling valve. Once the outlet pressure reaches approx. 40 ÷ 60% of the supply pressure value, the valve switches over and air flows through the full bore from the inlet connection to the outlet connection. Removing the control signal causes the supply valve to close and the working circuit to be vented. The soft-start valve is used in installations where it is necessary to protect the actuated components from sudden pressurisation, which may generate impact loads acting on the machine structural components. Excessive air consumption from the outlet connection during the initial pressurisation of the working circuit may disrupt valve operation and prevent it from fully opening. Size: SY1, SY2.…
