Chemical hose and for peristaltic pumps TYGON® CHEMICAL
Cream-coloured, flexible chemical hose with a two-layer construction, specially designed to combine high chemical resistance with long service life in a peristaltic pump. The smooth inner layer made of polyolefin with very good chemical resistance, plasticiser-free and compliant with FDA requirements, is resistant to acids, bases, salts, alcohols and ketones and is characterised by low absorption and adsorption of water-based fluids. It is resistant to most commonly used cleaning and disinfecting agents. The outer layer made of thermoplastic elastomer (Norprene®) provides excellent properties for use in a peristaltic pump: very long service life (up to 800 h), permanently uniform flow and accurate dosing of substances.
