Nipples in malleable cast iron - short threaded connectors for joining valves, fittings and equipment in low-pressure steel pipelines carrying water, air or oils. Available as barrel and reducing nipples in standard thread sizes, black or galvanised. Tapered male threads seal with PTFE tape or sealant; check pressure and temperature limits for the installation class.
