Cast Iron Couplings
Sockets (couplings) in malleable cast iron for joining two male-threaded pipe ends in low-pressure water, air and general utility lines. Straight and reducing sockets are available in standard thread sizes, black or galvanised for outdoor or damp environments. A simple, economical way to extend threaded steel pipe runs; seal tapered threads with PTFE tape or paste.
