Threaded adaptors connecting hose assemblies to industrial installations, made of carbon steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium with BSP, BSPT or NPT threads. Working pressures reach several dozen bar depending on size and material. Parallel threads seal on a flat gasket, tapered threads on the thread with PTFE tape or liquid sealant; note that NPT and BSPT are not interchangeable.
