Storz couplings are symmetrical quick couplings dominant in fire-fighting and water transfer. Two identical halves engage with a quarter turn; sizes are designated by letters (A, B, C, D). Available in light alloy, brass and stainless steel; Storz is a distinct DIN-based system and does not mate with Guillemin, NOR or Camlock couplings.
