Brass Camlock couplings (EN 14420-7 / MIL-C-27487) offer better corrosion resistance than aluminium for water, fuels and many process liquids. Like all cam-and-groove couplings they are for liquids only — never compressed air or gases. Select size and seal elastomer to match the medium; for aggressive chemicals prefer stainless steel or polypropylene versions.
