Smooth bore antistatic PTFE hose PTFE AS
Lightweight smooth-bore PTFE hose with antistatic properties and excellent chemical resistance. Conductive and dissipative properties are achieved by adding up to 2.5% carbon black – PTFE AS. This reduces the hose material resistance and meets the requirements of EN12115, which requires end-to-end hose resistance below 10 6 Ω/m. The hose is intended especially for chemically aggressive non-conductive substances, e.g. organic solvents, whose flow in a standard PTFE hose may cause electrostatic charge build-up and related hazards. The high purity and dispersion of the carbon additive in PTFE ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR 178.3297 for materials approved for temporary contact with food.
