FLOWSAFE float
The FLOWSAFE float is designed for all hoses used in the marine industry. In particular, this applies to delivery hoses in ship-to-offshore platform connections. Thanks to the floats, the hoses remain on the water surface, which prevents them from being damaged by the ship’s propeller and allows the floating unit to manoeuvre. The float can also serve as a protective hose cover. It can be used for both delivery hoses (without spiral) and suction and delivery hoses (with steel spiral) in sizes 3", 4" and 5". Fastened with stainless steel clamps placed in grooves in the float. When floats are used for delivery hoses, an additional special steel cable should be used with the float to secure it to the hose and prevent it from moving when the hose is handled and there is no pressure in it.
