Cooling water hose ESSEN 20®
Heavy-duty delivery hose intended for cooling water in steelworks, foundries and in all applications where the rubber hose operates close to a heat source. Fibreglass cover resistant to temperatures up to +530°C caused by heat radiation. Used in cooling systems. Particularly recommended for water installations at metallurgical furnaces. Resistant to brief contact with splashes of incandescant hot metal. Non-conductive – electrical resistance of the rubber compound ≥108 Ω/m. Inner layer: white insulating EPDM rubber. Reinforcement: synthetic cord. Outer layer: EPDM rubber covered with fibreglass. Working pressure: 20 bar. Working temperature: from -40°C to +120°C (outer layer up to +530°C).
