CHICAGO® hose for fire equipment
Robust, flexible water hose designed for reel winding. Intended for use in high-pressure fire-fighting equipment and fire trucks ( booster hose ). Inner layer resistant to extinguishing and foaming agents. Reinforcement made of a thick layer of high-strength cord. Outer layer resistant to weather conditions. The CHICAGO EN hose differs from the basic CHICAGO hose version by its construction compliant with EN 1947: 2014 ( type C, class 1, category 2 ), while CHICAGO EN GL is compliant with EN 1947, but with a luminescent outer layer, allowing easy visibility of the hose in the dark or in smoke. Versions of the hose compliant with ASTM C-542 and BS 3169 are also available on special order. Standard reel length: 60 m (120 m subject to confirmation for the basic hose version).
